PADI Deep Specialty - Stoney Cove

THE FOUR SEASONS…

If someone used the words ‘four seasons’ and ‘May’ in the same sentence, many would assume they were referring to an exciting spring evening featuring the finest works of Antonio Vivaldi.

Unfortunately, four seasons here is in reference to the unreliably great British weather, which is exactly what we got down at Stoney Cove whilst delivering the PADI Deep Diver Specialty Course.

Divers experienced lashing rain followed by howling winds, horizontal sleet and then mild snow, all ultimately topped off with glorious sunshine! I can honestly say that i have never seen anything like it for this time of year!

The PADI Deep Specialty is by no means an easy diver course, yet today’s students performed exceptionally well, braving the cold, the poor visibility and the eerie darkness of Stoney Cove’s deepest attraction, the hydro-box, down at a bone-chilling 38m.

Well done Danny, Robin and Steve!
