Ilkley RFC U12’s 2024 Kit Sponsorship

SEPE Diving are delighted for another season to be co-sponsors for the Ilkley RFC U12’s 2024 tour kit

As if this last winters diving hasn’t been crazy enough, it’s certainly been an incredibly busy rugby season. With the recent World Cup, Six Nations, and Army Vs Navy, we’ve also had an impressive U12’s season down at Stacks Field, the home of Ilkley RFC.

Unlike 2023, head coach Charlie McIntosh, and assistant coach Chris Bates already had a few ideas as to the designs for the U12’s 2024 tour kit. After more hard work, deliberation and extensive engagement with sponsors, it was only fitting following the 1st XV’s decision to move to Oxen Sports as their premier kit supplier, that the U12’s should dutifully follow suit.

From Leeds Rhino’s to the British Army, Oxen’s high quality sportswear can increasingly be found on both amateur and professional players all over the UK. Having benefitted from seeing first hand many of their existing designs, it was an exciting process for sponsors to be part of how our brand logos would be used.

Joining the line up of new and existing businesses, SEPE Diving is one of several companies local to Ilkley RFC who were pleased to once again work with the U12’s coaching team to ensure that the boys got not only the kit that they needed, but also the one that they deserved. As both sponsors and parents, it’s naturally important to us that our juniors look as impressive as they play.

We are thrilled to have been able to collaborate with the following businesses on this project:

SEPE Diving would again like to extend a special thanks to the coaches for their continued dedication and commitment to training the team.

Garry, Chris, Charlie, Ed, Jonny and Simon have put in an unprecedented amount of time and hard work throughout this and previous seasons, working with the rapidly developing U12’s come rain or shine, through unrelenting dark nights and only latterly, sunnier days.

As the 2023/2024 season ends, the U12’s now take the mantle of U13’s, where they face an even more challenging season with the prospect of participating in the coveted ‘Yorkshire Cup’ from September 2024 onwards.

SEPE Diving would like to also provide some recognition for the amazing parents who have turned out this season to support their children week after week. To this end, tour hoodies were also provided to all supporting adults in lieu of their continued commitment to the boys.

Situated in the heart of Yorkshire, Ilkley RFC remains strictly an amateur club that caters for senior and junior teams across various leagues.

IDC Staff and lead instructor Steve Earnshaw continues in his role with Ilkley RFC as Junior Fixture Secretary, as young diver James ‘Earny’ Earnshaw makes his move to a more competitive level of rugby at U13’s across both league and union.

It has to be said that you will not find many clubs that are able offer a consistently enjoyable level of play across all age grades, and who are supported by a generous and loyal community of former players, enthusiasts and local residents that really makes being a part of Ilkley rugby something to look forward to!
