PADI Enriched Air (Nitrox)
Enriched air, also known as nitrox or EANx, contains less nitrogen than regular air. Breathing less nitrogen means you can enjoy longer dives and shorter surface intervals, so no wonder Enriched Air Diver is the most popular PADI® specialty.
WHAT WILL I DO?
Your training starts by learning why we use enriched air for scuba diving and how important it is to know and understand the limits. During your PADI Enriched Air course you will develop the knowledge and skill to:
Obtain and record nitrox gas fills
Understand why nitrox allows you to stay at depth for longer
Understand why nitrox allows you to enjoy shorter surface intervals
Measure the oxygen content of your gas blend using an analyser
Program multiple dive gasses into your computer
